Plain-English Summary of Our School Agreements

💳 What you pay

• Starter Campus: $599/school year (≤350 students, 40 staff) · Pro Campus: $995/school year (unlimited) · District-Wide Pass: $4,995/school year (up to 10 schools). Monthly options are available.
• Pay by card/P-Card or purchase order (invoice, Net [30]).
• Annual plans renew yearly unless you cancel at least [30] days before renewal. We'll remind you first.

🏫 Your data is yours

• The school owns all student data. We act as a FERPA "school official" under your direct control.
• We use it only to run HallGuard Pro for your school.
• We never sell it, never use it for ads, never build student profiles, and never use it to train AI for others.
• We collect only what's needed: names, IDs, grades, and pass times. We don't collect diagnoses, photos, locations, or parent contact information.

🔒 How we protect it

• Encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in the US.
• Role-based logins. Each school's data is kept separate.
• If there's a breach, we tell you within 72 hours.
• You can audit our security once a year.

👪 Parents and young students

• For students under 13, the school consents on parents' behalf for school use only (COPPA).
• No student surveys on protected topics (PPRA).
• Parents ask the school to see or correct records, and we help.

🗑️ When you leave

• Cancel anytime. Within 60 days, we return your data on request and then delete it, and we'll confirm the deletion in writing.

🗺️ State laws

State add-ons apply where required, such as California SOPIPA, New York Ed Law 2-d, and Illinois SOPPA. Where a state rule is stricter, we follow the stricter one.
